Chef Bob began his career when he was just 18 years old at Petaling Jaya Hilton, and he has developed a profound passion for cooking ever since.
After getting his start at The Hilton, Chef Bob worked on cruise ships with Royal Viking and Sea Bourn Cruises before moving on to Jebel Dhanna Resort Abu Dhabi, UAE and Khartoum, Sudan for 2 years.
Upon gaining experience, he returned to the Malaysia in 2003 and worked at several 5-star hotels in Kuala Lumpur including The Westin and Mandarin Oriental. Chef Bob joined Sheraton Imperial Kuala Lumpur as Chef de Cuisine in 2008, and was appointed its Executive Chef in 2016.
Today, Chef Bob works as a Corporate Executive Chef with MAS Awana Sdn Bhd, and he is also active in the Chefs Association of Malaysia (National body) and holds the position of President of the Professional Culinaire Association (PCA).
