Chef Bob is the current President of the Professional Culinaire Association (Malaysia) but his food journey began when he was just 18 years old at Petaling Jaya Hilton, which was where he first developed a profound passion for cooking.
After getting his start at The Hilton, Chef Bob worked on cruise ships with Royal Viking and Sea Bourn Cruises before moving on to Jebel Dhanna Resort Abu Dhabi, UAE and Khartoum, Sudan for 2 years.
Upon gaining experience, he returned to the Malaysia in 2003 and worked at several 5-star hotels in Kuala Lumpur including The Westin and Mandarin Oriental. Chef Bob joined Sheraton Imperial Kuala Lumpur as Chef de Cuisine in 2008, and was appointed its Executive Chef in 2016.
Following that, Chef Bob worked as a Corporate Executive Chef with MAS Awana Sdn Bhd before he switched to his current career as a full-time consultant chef and host of his own cooking show, Chef Bob Cooking.
